Member of the mile high club
A fantasy that every man has. To have sex on a plane, up in the air and become an honored member of the prestigious Mile High club. You can have sex with a flight attendant, your girlfriend or a random stranger.
If you haven’t heard of it already, where have you’ve been living, under a rock? I mean it's the ultimate combo: sex in a public space and up in the clouds. With your partner or a hot flight attendant or a random girl you met on board, the epicness is the same. Sadly, you won’t receive any actual miles to commemorate your experience but on the other hand, you don’t have to pay any fees to join this Flight Club.
Research indicate that 26% of Americans are members of the Mile High Club (or at least claiming they are) and 25% want to desperately join. A staggering 78% fantasize about it quite a lot. Well out of the 26% who actually did it, 14% get caught and out of those 10% are actually caught by fellow passengers (cringy). If you are wondering who shags who and where, here are all the statistics you need to know: 79,4% does it with their partner, 19.6% with a stranger, 14.8% with a casual acquaintance, 14.6% with a friend, 6.9% with a colleague and 2.3% with a flight attendant. In case you are wondering about zoning percentage, 79.6% have sex in coach, 25% in the bathroom, 4% aisle, 2.8% galley, 21.1% first class or business and 0.8% cockpit. There you have all the statistics you need to know.
Some people think that having sex on the plane is unclassy and offensive. Some airlines will penalize you if you get caught or the flight attendants will embarrass you. Fellow passengers may look down on you or up (it depends what sort of person you are really). But the experience is the same. You got to have sex up in the sky. You get to be iconic in front of your friends and you get to cross one more fantasy from your list.

Sex in the toilet
The most common ways to do it up in the air, are three. You can use the tiny toilet and have a quickie. This is the most disgusting of all options since it is a public toilet, people will be knocking your door if you take too long and they will know what you were up to once you exit the toilet in a duo. Even worse, if one of you goes out and the second lingers inside for a minute, for appearances sake, and another passenger thinking that the toilet is finally free, barges in. The flight attends (if they caught up with what is going on) can enter without notice since they can unlock the bathroom from the outside. Statistics say though that this is the most common place for plane sex with 60% of people getting it on around a toilet.
Sex in your seats
Believe it or not a whopping 31% has done it right where they were seated. Sounds uncomfortable? Probably in like super cheap airlines with the bus seats but high-end airlines offer spacious seats or you the option to upgrade to one. Plus, no matter the airline don’t forget you can lift up the armrest and make more space. Although, you have to keep it slow and quiet, you do get more space than a toilet. The chances of getting caught are a lot higher than the toilets though. On the other hand, if you can splurge for a first-class seat which are bigger you will be a lot more comfortable. Expensive airlines offer private cabins (quite costly) but with this option nobody gets to see you having sex and you can indulge more in the experience.

Sex in the galley
Well 9% actually claims they did. It's safe to assume that all of them got caught. Common it's a super public space and air attendants use it regularly to prepare the hot meals etc. Still, it sounds thrilling especially if you are into doing in public and getting caught. And you have the little window where you can enjoy the view whilst doing it.
Sex in a private plane
Not so much out of reach as it sounds like. There are airlines who offers an exclusive short flight with a private cabin where you can have sex. They offer added services such as limousine pickup, roses, champagne and it sounds like a good anniversary gift. If you are someone who is cautious of getting caught, this option is for you. The only problem is to find the one to go for it (don’t splurge money in vain).

Bottom line
Plane sex usually lasts around 10 minutes which means no real foreplay. It is actually long if you think about it, since you are under the pressure of getting caught. One should decide if it’s worth it keeping in mind while there aren’t any state law applicable, federal agencies can consider it actionable. Also, be sure that the person you want to engage in sexual intercourse with is really into it, otherwise it is considered a harassment. It is a fun experience and can rekindle your love life with your partner.
