Best Bachelor Party Destinations In The World
So, you are the “Best Man”. Quite an honor. However, not one without important responsibilities. While typically a much easier title than that of Maid of Honor, the role of Best Man also comes with a fair share of tasks that range in difficulty depending on how high maintenance the groom is.
It can be anything from being in charge of the rings, to making sure the groom doesn’t run off on the big day, to giving a toast at the reception with just the right mixture of humor, heartfelt sentiment, and embarrassing anecdotes. Above all though, the most important job you have, in most cases, is chosing from the best bachelor party destinatons in the world.
While it is certainly possible to plan a killer bachelor party within the limits of your hometown that usually ends by the end of the night, if time and money aren’t obstacles, a destination bachelor party will take the party to the next level and make it a weekend none of you will ever forget (or possibly ever remember). There are many approaches you can take regarding the type of bachelor party you are aiming for. So, think about the groom and start looking up ticket prices to these epic bachelor party locales.
If the bachelor you’re planning for is more of an adventurer, Lake Tahoe fits the bill. With a wide array of sporting options, this beautiful lake on the border between California and Nevada is the perfect outdoor oasis.
There are seriously too many options for great party ideas on offer to list them all, but here are a few to wet your appetite:
- White Water Rafting
- Ziplining
- Kayaking
- Hiking
- Mountain Biking
- Paddle boarding
- Hang Gliding
- Fishing
- Boating
- Golfing
Of course, you also have plenty of nightlife on offer. Just pick the beach that matches your vibe, from musical offerings, to bar hopping, to casinos (Nevada side of the lake only), you can find the perfect nightlife companion to your daytime adventures.
Lake Tahoe also offers a wide variety of accommodation options ranging anywhere from nice luxury resorts where you don’t need to lift a finger, to camping if you are looking to continue to embrace nature. Tahoe is also a great option if you are hosting a winter bachelor party. While some of the aforementioned activities won’t be available in the winter, great skiing and snowboarding options should definitely make up for that.
If the groom to be is all about that exotic beach life, we recommend heading down to South America to enjoy everything Rio De Janeiro has to offer. Spend your days at the beach soaking up the sun, swimming, snorkeling, drinking caipirinhas (traditional Brazilian cocktails), relaxing, and enjoying being surrounded by beautiful locals in the best bachelor destination in South America.
Need a break from the beach? How about a trip to check out the Christ the Redeemer statue? Not only is this mammoth statue impressive to behold for its own sake, but the view over the city and beyond is phenomenal. This may be the best point of the trip for taking photos, so that you can show the bride to be that everything over the weekend was above board and that you were just having a nice wholesome time with Jesus.
Come nightfall the party is on. It will be quite a challenge to find nightlife more vibrant than that of Rio. Whether you are looking to check out a top tier club, an all-night party, or just enjoy a few (or several) drinks with the locals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Of course, if you are lucky and the timing works out you could be booking the trip during Carnival. What better way to celebrate than by joining in one of the biggest parties on earth?
So, I mention Las Vegas just to avoid any accusations of obliviousness. I don’t want to read any comments saying, “She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. How can you not include Vegas on a list of best bachelor party destinations?” Of course Vegas thrives on bachelor parties. Their most memorable slogan, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” makes that pretty clear. And yes, Las Vegas is the top bachelor party destination in the world for a reason. You don’t have to look very far or try too hard to discover some amazing things to do that will make your party great.
However, on the flip side, due to its extreme popularity there is a good chance that one or more of the party guests (possibly including groom) have been to Vegas for a bachelor party before. After all, it is probably the 1st destination that comes to most minds when you start talking about bachelor parties. I imagine that if you are reading this you are looking for something a little less obvious. My recommendation is to save the Vegas bachelor party for another best man with less originality.
Class, style, sophistication, racing, gambling, glamorous people and hedonistic decadence. If this sounds like the man of the hour, then Monte Carlo is your place. Take your tuxedos, work on your James Bond impressions and enjoy this vibrant nonstop city.
You can spend your days out on the water doing anything from waterskiing to chartering a yacht. Alternatively, being in this Iconic racing town you might want to get behind the wheel and spend your days on the track racing around in some of the best Go-Karting you’ll find on the planet.
Hungry? You will have access to nearly limitless options for wining and dining in style in this city that has a hard time doing things any other way.
Monte Carlo operates 24 hours a day, so you will be able to party all night long. Whether you are looking for drinking, dancing, floor-shows, or gambling you will find plenty of options for best party before a wedding you can throw.
However you plan to spend your evenings, at some point all roads lead to the Iconic Monte Carlo casino. One of the most famous casinos on the planet, even if you aren’t interested in gambling, you’ll want to visit for the beauty of the building and the unbeatable atmosphere.
Like with Rio De Janeiro during Carnival, if you are able to time it so that the party takes place during the Monaco Grand Prix, you will take things to the next level as the city is transformed into a one of a kind experience.

Of course there are plenty of other great bachelor party destinations out there aside from these highlights, but the most important thing to remember is that the party is all about the groom.
Make sure you plan the type of event that he will enjoy.
If he fits with one of the plans listed above then great, but maybe the ideal party for him would be Comic-Con in San Diego, or a safari through the Serengeti, or the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. Whatever the case may be, as long as you tailor the event to the interests of the groom, you will succeed in your most vital Best Man duty and the party will be an unforgettable one.
