That’s why I decided to make a list for you with all the best movies you should be looking forward to this summer.
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum

Release date: 17 May 2019 (USA)
If you’d like to start your summer with probably the most kick-ass action movie that is coming out this year, you must check out John Wick’s sick moves and deadly shots. How many times have you seen a fight scene that ends up with Keanu Reeves killing his enemy with a PENCIL! If you’ve seen any of the previous installments, you already know what I’m talking about and you know what you’re getting into. And if you haven’t, you’re in for a vengeful bloody ride.
Spider-Man: Far from Home

Release date: 2 July (USA)
There are two facts that make it a must-watch on everyone’s list.:
1) It’s a MARVEL movie
2) It follows the events of Avengers: Endgame
3) Jake Gyllenhaal is Mysterio
These reasons should be enough to make you run for a screening as soon as the movie comes out. But even if you’re not really interested, this is a guaranteed good pop-corn flick that you can definitely enjoy with your friends while having some decent laughs. It’s Spider Man after all and his web shooter can never become boring.
Midsommar

Release date: 3 July (USA)

Release date: 3 July (USA)
From the same director who brought you the scariest critically acclaimed film of 2018 “Hereditary”, Ari Aster is coming back this summer with another horrifying movie. judging by the trailer, the movie looks to be even scarier than “Hereditary”. And the special thing about it is that the whole film is set in bright sunlight. Horror films supposedly offer us sleepless nights, but with Midsommar, it seems that we won’t be sleeping in the morning either.
The Lion King

Release date: 19 July (USA)

Release date: 19 July (USA)
After the live-action remake of “The Jungle Book”, Disney had earned a sweet spot in audience’s heart. The movie was loved by many and we wanted to see more of it. Luckily, we’ll be able to see a live-action remake of The Lion King this summer. They recreated the same scenes with details just to push the nostalgic emotions out of every true Disney fan. Time to grab some tissues and head to the cinema and relive some of the best moments in the original film.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Release date: 26 July (USA)
Quentin Tarantino, enough said. This guy only brings us the best of the movies; “Pulp Fiction” , “Kill Bill” , “Reservoir Dogs” and “The Hateful Eight”. It seems like the word “average” doesn’t exist in his directorial dictionary. The good news is he’s coming back this summer with an exceptional cast including “Leonardo DiCaprio”, “Brad Pitt” and “Margot Robbie”. The movie is set during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969. The trailer doesn’t say much about the plot but since it’s a Tarantino film, you know you’re in for a crazy good ride.
The list doesn’t stop there, there are some other exciting releases coming out as well, “Godzilla: King of Monsters”, “Toy Story 4”, “Dark Phoenix”, “The Secret Life of Pets 2”, just to name a few.
I hope you liked this summer’s movie kit and if you’ve got any other movie suggestions that should be included in the pack, please mention it in the comments below.
Happy Summer!
