Attention! Iconic Men, you have to read this about live concerts
We all have our ups and downs, it’s something that we can’t deny nor control. Each one of us has his own troubles, but there’s a place that can sweeten the bitterness in your life and make you live a little longer.
A live concert is an event that people attend and usually leave all their burdens behind and live in the moment. They sing, dance, laugh, drink and do everything to release their negative energy. But, did you also know that they can help you live longer?
I found a study commissioned by O2 in the UK that suggests that concerts can literally extend your life by up to 9 years.
The test subjects took part in “psychometric testing and heart rate tests” while they were doing activities they love, such as yoga, dog-walking and of course, attending concerts.
According to the results of the study, spending 20 minutes at a concert can increase your well-being by 21%, which made many believe that going to live concerts is the new yoga.

What Happens to You at A Concert
Your wellbeing and happiness are the essentials. At a concert, your dopamine levels rise. You get the feeling that nothing else matters and you just want to have as much fun as you can. You decide to be really happy for a while. You take a break from anything that brings you stress and you shut your mind off.
A Feeling You Can Only Experience at A Concert
The crowd will share their spirit with you. Wherever you look, there will be people smiling. Some of them will be clapping, some will be singing their hearts out. After that something very special may happen to you in an instant, while you’re dancing like everyone else is, you’ll start to see the concert move in slow motion as all your senses sharpen.
The air suddenly starts to feel colder with its breeze, your eyes start to notice all the people jumping and screaming, you hear the voices of joy and loud screaming, not the music. You get disconnected from the scene, and you’ll have a very special moment between you and your spirit. A thought comes to your mind, about how everyone has left their own private world and come here to be with all these like-minded people. You wonder how everyone is doing the same moves and singing the same lyrics, yet each one is so different to the other. And that moment right there is the best proof of why everyone should spend more time at concerts.

People, Energy, and Spirits
There are many occasions where we feel like we’re overwhelmed with work or studies, or things aren’t really going well with certain people around us; In such cases, it’s very normal to feel down. So, you call that one true friend (who you’re almost certain is up for going to a concert), and you both go and spend some quality time. When you’re in the middle of the crowd, you two won’t talk, you’ll just look at each other while each one shows the best of his dance moves. The music is too loud for you to even try and think about the problems. And if you do wander in your mind for a few seconds, your friend will nudge you and snap you out of it.
As you can see, a friend is always a good choice, but it’s not the only one. You can make the bold move and go alone. I know how hard it is these days to actually approach people and start a conversation, but at a live concert you can just look at someone and start mimicking their dance moves, learning their style, and it instantly creates a connection between the both of you. You may not ever talk and you’ll probably never see them again. But that human connection is something we all need from time to time, it gives us a warm sensation and it makes the humane part of us glow.
The Longer the Concert, The BETTER.
The duration of the concert you’re attending is a great factor in determining the amount of joy you get. A 1-hour concert isn’t the same as a full day festival, keep that in mind. Dedicating more time to a concert is something you simply can’t regret, if you choose the right one of course.
It all comes down to the scale and the type of the concert, as long as you trust the organizers or the bands performing, you’re good to go, otherwise, you might not totally get in the mood. Don’t go cheap on concerts and expect to have the best time of your life. A concert can be a little pricy for a reason, paying for joyous times at an awesome concert is absolutely worth it.

It's A Reset Button
The loud music, the people, the company, the lights, the applause, the crazy spirit, the no-limits vibe, the energy, the thunderous applause, all of these things combined together can only be found at a concert. And it’s that great combo that gives us a cocktail of emotions. You let go of your overthinking the second you step out of your front door and leave for the concert and afterwards, all the stresses in your mind will be gone.
My advice to you would be to give in to the positive energy that a concert will offer you, and for only a few hours, do your best to enjoy.
If you have to scream to let it all out, do it. If you want to dance with someone, do it. Create unforgettable memories with the people around you. Smile during the whole day. Do whatever you need to support your wellbeing. A concert makes it a lot easier for you to live special moments, and that’s why a live concert is really, a cure for life.
