END.: A must download fashion app?
Men don’t like shopping, is it a stereotype or a reality? Are fashion apps the answer to the age-old question?
END. a UK based store which is making a breakthrough with their app and delivers internationally. It carries mid-level brands, killer streetwear, right through to luxury brands, so it’s not for the man who shops on a budget. The innovation they bring is the fact that they will price match if you bring them the exact same item that is cheaper on another site. Although, on the pricey side they have a permanent sale up to 60% tab for men (who don’t care if their item was designed last season).
What is END. ?
END. is a UK based store that has their one website and app and delivers around the world. END. started off in Newcastle with their flagship store and now has a turnover running into millions. The firm was set up by friends John Parker and Christiaan Ashworth in 2005 and they managed to establish themselves not only the UK market but globally. Their stores feature long lines when exclusive lines are released hence their decision to cater online and afterwards creating their own app, was brilliant.
Why END.?
Because it delivers to the US for a flat rate of $11.95 or for free for orders over $250.00. Their prices include all import duties and taxes and they deliver within 2 days after you placed the order. Most sites won’t deliver from Europe to the US this quickly and so makes it an ideal online shop for last minute gift-buying.
Their return policy is excellent. They will refund all the money back to you, if your item has even a minor default or you simply don’t like it, as long as you haven’t used it and it has all the original tags. For each item, they have a comprehensive sizing chart with exact measurements, which essentially is a huge time saver.
Why use their App?
Their app, in my opinion, is the most stylish fashion shopping app ever. It takes little space on your phone, it's free to download and you can load thousands of results very quickly. The design is very cool and is aesthetically pleasing.
On the downside, there is no sorting when you’re viewing a category. So, you have to scroll down through everything, no matter what your budget is or what color you’re looking for. Also, they don’t offer customer reviews which in my opinion is one of the most useful features in an online retail site/app. If you Google reviews about End. you will find positive feedback overall, therefore, it would be a good suggestion for them to add customer comments under each item.
What are the special features?
You can check out all items in extremely high quality and you can zoom in as much as you like. You can filter by brand, department, style, color, gender and size.
They have a new feature called END. Launches where you can enter a draw. You decide on an item, put in your size and if you are lucky might win the item.
Also, in the Features tab, you can get inspired with editorials, interviews, culture and sneakers. I love this magazine-style concept which shows that they give their time and effort to provide some more information on fashion. They don’t make any profit out of this section, but they do offer their tips and fashion info for everyone, which I think is a power move.
What I love about END.?
I love their designer outfits and some you can only find there. Another thing I love about END. is their permanent Sale Tab, where you can find items up to 60% less.
I find their Lifestyle section super useful where you can find all sort of designer necessities from homeware to stationary, grooming to technology. You can filter by category or brand.
I absolutely love their gift section where you can find all sorts of gift ideas for your pals or your girl. You can filter it down by price, which makes our life super easy.
Tip: I particularly like their colorful and bold choices in outfits.
What do you think of END.? Have you shopped from their site? Are you a user of their app? Did you use the other apps we are suggesting? Sound off below!
